FRIENDSHIP

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

This quote shows how friends or in other words best friends will react when you are in a difficult situation .

A Writer's Life

A long life with a deep constitution is bound to attract a contradictory emotion of lonely fulfillment. One may write to ease and comfort his fellow man in times of turbulence. For life rushes upon us like heavy currents in a river and often we need soft words to avail us through the dark waves of fortune. But here I write these letters to you, any who have been victims of despair, to remind you that radiant hope forever emanates from the dawn of the crimson mornings. Life continues and the sun always rises. With every tear we are cleansed, with every fall we may rise again, with every evil committed there shall always be love and hope to requite it. Every tear of humanity will one day be requited, suffering shall be reduced, and justice will be prevalent. Not only do I believe that man will persevere and surmount his obstacles but that he is immortal. Mankind is of the cosmos, the kingdom of God is within the heart of humanity, and when we compose we reveal more of ourselves. Often we confine our hearts to despair but through writing we can facilitate in suppressing the anguish that haunts our minds. So here I write to you in my utmost sincerity with the conviction of hope to remind you that love and justice always prevail in the face of evil. Every day we suffer and struggle against the oppressive forces of our absurd world but never yield, all great things are the denouement of endurance. And who am I? Writing to you, I am simply a man that has been gazing into the labyrinths of your hearts, desperately searching for a coruscating ray of ardency.

I am originally from Benghazi, but sadly I have never set foot there nor do I know much about it even though it's my hometown.
I was born and raised in Tripoli. It is what I first peeked and where I first trod. Tripoli occupies a great place in my heart. It is, without any exaggeration, my most beloved place on earth.

Words can never give justice to how much i cherish Tripoli. There is something about its air, sky, terrain, roads, and buildings, and no, it's not pollution and destruction. There's something about Tripoli that I can't grasp and convey through words, there's something about it that makes it magnificent.
For a capital of one of the world's richest countries, Tripoli is a disgrace. Libya is a disgrace itself, due to Gaddafi's 4 decades of systematical destruction and demolition. Nevertheless, Tripoli is the most majestic to me. Whenever I travel abroad I feel a huge void inside of myself, a void that only disappears the minute I arrive in that wreckage of an airport in Tripoli.

I consider Tripoli to be my hometown for I was born and reside in it. My love for Tripoli did not shine on me as an epiphany due to the revolution last year, unlike many people my age, I had loved it consciously and subconsciously ever since I was little.
I can honestly say that all of my loyalty belongs to Tripoli. During the war, my greatest fear was the subversion that could had come to it, the thought of Gaddafi hopelessly destroying it in his, what many Arab political analysers call "The Dead Chicken Waltz", was my deepest trepidation for 7 months. The day Tripoli was liberated was the greatest, most memorable day of my life.

Nothing could be more heinous to me than a long absence from Tripoli. I would never want to or stand leaving it without a prompt return. Tripoli is where I want to live and where I want my grave to be dug.
May God save our beautiful capital from any harm.

Abdelrouf’s best quotes

When I was a young man, I had liberty but I didn’t know it, I had life but I didn’t see it, I had love but I didn’t feel it, it took me decades to understand the meaning of all three.”

This quote was said by Ezio Auditore just before he died, explaining his experience in his life and how he was running for the demands of his soul making him forget his life and his beloved ones. He was an assassin, a silent force of justice and peace of his village.

I like this quote, because it represents all the experiences that Ezio gained throughout his lifetime, along with feelings kept deep inside him due to hard choices that he has to overcome as well as self-sacrifice for his people to live freely and happily, in which a proverb says “With great power comes great responsibility”.

FACEBOOK

Facebook is a social networking service and website launched in February 2004, operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc. As of January 2012, Facebook has more than 800 million active users. Users must register before using the site, after which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists such as "People From Work" or "Close Friends". The name of the service stems from the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by some university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other. Facebook allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the site.

Easy Way To Pass The Exams with an A+

Exams are upon us once again. They don't seem that important until they are a few days away. We start to rush to get all the missing notes and what's included in the exams. We come home tired from school and hit the books. We study for hours upon hours to prepare for a piece of paper with words on it. In the old ages men prepare and train for hours to fight a war, not to answer a bunch of measly questions.

How tasteless life is turned into by exams. Constantly studying page after page about things I shall soon forget. These two weeks shall pass, then back to the old routine. Barely studying, and doing nothing until the next time I encounter the horrid, foul exams. Your were probably expecting an easy way out weren't you. Well there isn't. So deal with it and go hit the books.

Guitar

Instruments come in many different shapes andsizes. There are hundreds of different types but the greatest of them all is theguitar. It is the core of many genres of music. There are three types of guitar. The acoustic guitar, classic guitar and electric guitar. The acoustic guitar iswhat you hear in many western country songs. It has this somewhat metallicsound to it. The classic guitar is what you would hear in Spanish music andsoothing instrumental music. It sounds quite light and has a more refined senseof elegance compared to its counterparts.

The electric guitar is probably the mostpopular. Anything played on the electric guitar will sound awesome. It is theeasiest to play out of all three. Also the most fun to jam on.

The amount of guitar players in Libya suddenly sky rocketed after therecent revolution. I never thought that there was this much talent around.Someday a Libyan band will become famous and recognized globally.

Video Games are Helpful

Video games have been around since the early80s and have evolved much since then. They bring us much joy and entertainment. They set us in these engaging worlds much different than our own. Many peoplemay think video games are a waste of time. Nothing is achieved by playing thesegames, but I disagree.

Studies on video games have shown that video games actually help in thedevelopment of a child. Children’s minds strengthen through strategy andproblem solving games. Their reflexes become better through shooting games.Other games help expand and widen a child’s imagination.

At a school in the U.S. a teacher uses videogames to teach his class of 6th graders. These educational gameshave actually shown a 70% in academic performance. The material being taught isn’tseen as work, but as play. The Children can’t wait to start their homework andstudy for the test. Of course too much of anything never results in somethinggood. Everything in moderation brings out the best in a nation

Sci-Fi innovates Science

The Sci-Fi universe is a dimension of endless possibilities, from rayguns to giant mechanical suits of armor to space ships. It shapes what we thinkmight be the future. It triggers our vast imagination and allows us to thinkbeyond the horizon. What people might think is impossible is someone else'sgoal.

Much of today’s science was once known as science fiction. Theunderwater car, rocket ships, underwater trains, airplanes, remote controlleddrones, etc…. And now what you see in movies is already being studied and indevelopment. Artificially intelligent robots are not as far as you might think.Lightsabers have been predicted to be invented in about 50 years from now.Brainwaves are being read and interpreted by machines. The list just goes onand on. Some findings and proofs are so farfetched that you will never believeit unless you see them with your own eyes. Who knows? They might even figureout a way to transfer the conscience of human to another body someday too. ScienceFiction sets the guidelines to the future.

You Are What You Eat

Since the dawn of humanity wehave always needed to eat, to ingest food in order to fuel our body withenergy. Without this energy, we would grow weak and incapacitated. During theprimitive ages, food was acquired through hunting of animals and the growingand picking of fruits and vegetables. Everything was 100% natural. These dayshowever, food is found just around the corner at your local grocery store. Youcan find all your hunger related needs there, from dinner ingredients to aquick snack. Unfortunately a lot of this processed food contains a fair amountof unhealthy ingredients such as preservatives, coloring, additives, and sometimeseven addictive substances.

These substances aren’t a threat in theshort term, but over time if one continuously ingests these types of foods heor she will surely face problems with their bodies. They might find themselveslacking energy, or gaining weight, or acquire some serious illness in drasticcases.

The human body continuously grows throughout the first quarter of itslife. How do you think it does that? Does it magically increase in size? No, itconstantly sheds and rebuilds bits and bits of itself by using the buildingblock it acquires from the food we digest. Every seven years starting frombirth you have a completely new body. Throughout those seven years your bodyhas replaced itself with what you have eaten over that period of time. So bythe age of 16 you have had around two whole bodies. A part of your pancreas mightbe made of that T-bone steak you had for dinner a month ago. Or your heart mightbe made from last week’s chicken sandwich. Imagine you always ate potato chips. Those potato chips contain so many bad substances that it would be a pain tolist them all. Just think about it. Maybe a part of your heart was remade outof those potato chips. Imagine having potato chips pumping your blood around.Your body is like your car. If you give it the wrong fuel, you’ll ruin theengine.

Next time you go to buy some groceries be sure to check the ingredients.Eating healthy will help you lead a better life.

Global warming

This article is about the change in climate Earth is currently experiencing.

Global warming refers to the rising average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans and its projected continuation. As far as I know, in the last 100 years, Earth's average surface temperature increased by a very small amount (about 1°C ) .with about two thirds of the increase occurring over just the last three decades. Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and scientists are more than 90% certain most of it is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels . These gases are part of the greenhouse effect, which is the process by which absorption and emission of infrared radiation by gases in the atmosphere warm a planet's lower atmosphere and surface. The major greenhouse gases are water vapor (H2O), methane(NH3) and ozone(O3).

An increase in global temperature will cause sea levels to rise and will change the amount and pattern of precipitation, and a probable expansion of subtropical deserts. Warming is expected to be strongest in the Arctic and would be associated with continuing retreat of glaciers, permafrost and sea ice. Other likely effects of the warming include more frequent occurrence of extreme weather events including heat waves, droughts and heavy rainfall events, species extinctions due to shifting temperature regimes, and changes in crop yields. Warming and related changes will vary from region to region around the globe, with projections being more robust in some areas than others. In a 4°C world, the limits for human adaptation are likely to be exceeded in many parts of the world, while the limits for adaptation for natural systems would largely be exceeded throughout the world. Hence, the ecosystem services upon which human livelihoods depend would not be preserved.

So we have to take care of our home planet, because this all we’ve got.
